Religion of Man

hey old man, why can't you see
in this world nothing comes for free
outside of your body is a cage
that keeps you grounded all the day
hey old man, the bells have rung
we wish they were quiet and calm
we're slipping into oddly shaped rooms
before it's filled with the night fumes
now is no time
to think of what you don't have
of what you might have
hey old man calm like a storm
it's time to sail
away from
misjudgment
away from home
noone knows where he goes

Blood Leaves a Trail

vultures from the depths
you cannot hear their cry
turning night sky bright
ripping flesh and sucking blood
thronging all around
they leave no stone unturned
satisfying lust
turn blind eye on their disgust
in the end you are
as bloody as they are
satisfying lust
ripping flesh and sucking blood
hunting high and low
vultures from below
take his eyes out
but leave his bones
you got what you wanted
isn't it enough
have you seen their eyes
adapted to poor light
you never know, you never know
where they will go
understanding sin
of which you don't believe in
when there is no time
losing friend is not your fault

he no longer dreamed of the storms,
nor contests of the strength
must hold his pain where it is
he only dreamed of places
and lions on the beach
although his pain could drive him mad
deep sea black water
I love you and respect you
but I'll kill you dead before
this neverending day ends
he's making a new turn

up on the hill
there stands a man
the crows are waiting for
his wave of hand
down to the waves
where wind begins
the crows have left us for
for better days
